Our classroom training at KATLAW helps prepare you for your appropriate permit test. The permit tests include:
General Knowledge: Taken by all drivers regardless of class.
Air Brakes: Taken by all drivers of vehicles equipped with air brakes.
Combination Vehicles: Taken by all drivers of Class A vehicles.
At KATLAW, we also teach you the various endorsements that are necessary for some (or most) drivers.
Hazardous Materials: Taken by all drivers who transport placarded hazardous materials.
Doubles and Triples: Taken by all drivers who pull multiple trailers.
Tank: Taken by all drivers that carries any liquid or liquid gas in a tank of 1,000 gallons or more.
Passenger: taken for the Bus license
Additionally here at KATLAW you will recieve your federally mandated entry level driver training, you will learn about current hours of service regulations and how to properly fill out and maintain a logbook, we will cover the CSA 2010 program, and many other safety or driving related topics.
