Our classroom training at KATLAW helps prepare you for your appropriate permit test. The permit tests include:
General Knowledge: Taken by all drivers regardless of class.
Air Brakes: Taken by all drivers of vehicles equipped with air brakes.
Combination Vehicles: Taken by all drivers of Class A vehicles.
At KATLAW, we also teach you the various endorsements that are necessary for some (or most) drivers.
Hazardous Materials: Taken by all drivers who transport placarded hazardous materials.
Doubles and Triples: Taken by all drivers who pull multiple trailers.
Tank: Taken by all drivers that carries any liquid or liquid gas in a tank of 1,000 gallons or more.
Passenger: taken for the Bus license
Additionally here at KATLAW we can teach about hours of service, as well as how to properly fill out and maintain a logbook.
